Organise your sea kayak hire with our friendly team. Then we'll launch you into the best area to set off on your paddling expedition. Our Sea Kayaks provide the most flexible experience in enjoying Kaikōura's aquatic wonderland, which is jam-packed full of marine life including fur seals, blue penguins, seabirds and dusky dolphins.

This low-impact adventure is a perfect way to spend some precious hours relaxing, taking in views of the sheer cliff faces, craggy rocks and mountain ranges surrounding Kaikōura.

Sea kayak hire is ideal for two or more people who are comfortable in the water and who have sea kayaking experience. If you haven't paddled before, join a seal kayaking tour to learn safety paddling basics in a laid back, hassle free environment.

Our Kaikoura sea kayak hire includes VHF Radios, Flares, a cell phone, a first aid kit, a spare paddle and all other equipment necessary for kayaking. We even include dry bags for your cameras!

Sea Kayak Hire is subject to availability and client screening.

Note: We do not hire SEA KAYAKS to children under 14 years, solo paddlers, or people with no previous Sea Kayaking experience.

If you are an inexperienced kayaker, we recommend you book a guided tour or sit-on-top kayak hire as a safer option.
